Fishing Season

The fishing season varies in Scotland depending upon the type of fish you are after. Salmon fishing season is best between January and November and change from one river to the next. The trout season is between March and October but some rivers in Aberdeen shire and the Highlands do not become operational until April. It is also important to note that on Sundays, fishing for trout and salmon are strictly prohibited.
