Mystery over major cruise lines cancelling NEW YEAR holidays just hours before departure

The major cruise lines cited “operational reasons”, leaving passengers baffled about why their holidays had ended before they begun. 

Swan Hellenic’s 15-day trip around the Atlantic Isles was due to leave Marseille on the Minerva ship today, January 3. 

But on December 30, passengers were told the 2017 trip had been cancelled. 

Swan Hellenic posted on its website: “Due to operational reasons, Swan Hellenic regrets to inform its passengers that the Gateway to Atlantic Isles cruise due to start in Marseille, France on 3rd January 2017 has been cancelled.
