American Constellation to sail New England coastal cruise

American Cruise Lines has created an itinerary for the
inauguration of the American Constellation, a coastal cruiser that launches May
21.

The 165-passenger ship will do an 11-day New England cruise
that starts and ends in Boston. Passengers will visit three New England states
with stops in Newport, Rhode Island; Martha’s Vineyard and Provincetown in
Massachusetts; and six destinations in Maine: Kennebunkport, Portland, Boothbay
Harbor, Rockland, Camden and Bar Harbor.

Activities will include a lobster bake luncheon on the shore
of Penobscot Bay, a tour of Newport and the Breakers Mansion, Captain Jack’s
Lobsterboat adventure, and a guided tour of Acadia National Park.

The itinerary will continue through mid-September.
