Oprah’s Alaskan Cruise Looks Like So Much Fun | Travel + Leisure

Oprah is in Alaskaaaaaaa!

Seriously, the mega-celebrity and media mogul is having an adventurous time in the frozen north after flying to Juneau this week and spending several days on the Holland America Eurodam cruise ship as part of a partnership between Holland America Line and O, The Oprah Magazine.

Oprah is apparently having an amazing trip. She has been posting plenty of pictures and videos since Monday of her voyage.

Naturally, she was awestruck by a glacier as she flew into Juneau.

Before she got on the boat, she decided to take a look around to meet some “locals.” By locals, we mean some local salmon who were trying to swim upstream for the spawning season. Ah, nature.

She was also lucky enough to see an American Bald Eagle, up close and personal, in the wild. We’re just as amazed as she is.

Once she got on the boat, it was party time. She sampled some Alaskan beers and got to know her fellow cruisers. She even met the captain.
