WATCH: P&O cruise ship BATTERED by storm as passengers ‘fear ship may actually go over’

He revealed: “Seated passengers’ chairs toppled over spilling elderly passengers onto the floor.

“The listing was such, and becoming slowly worse, that I began to fear the ship may actually go over.”

A spokesperson for PO Cruises explained: “We can confirm that the ship was transiting the Bay of Biscay in adverse weather and that a sudden gust of wind increased the wind to 100 knots. 

“When the wind increased, the ship altered course to minimise the effect. PO Cruises would never compromise the safety of its guests or crew.
