Silversea Cruises have launched the first around the world cruise

Heading back north, passengers would cruise towards Chile, across the Pacific to Easter Island, Pitcairn Island and French Polynesia.

From here the ship will move on towards Tona, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Australia then onto Asia. Guests will stop in Indonesia Singapore and Thailand, followed by Sri Lanka, India, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt and then on towards the Suez Canal.

Reaching the Mediterranean, guests will explore Italy, Spain, and Portugal before moving on to Northern Europe where they’ll stop in the UK and Norway.

However, a cruise of this duration does not come cheap.

A trip around the world will set passengers back an upward cost of £44,000 per person based on a double cabin.
