Queen Elizabeth: Why did she and Prince Philip choose to honeymoon in the UK?
Queen Elizabeth, 91, married Prince Philip, 96, in 1947 at Westminster Abbey after meeting in 1939.
They have since been married for over 70 years, and celebrated their anniversary together last year.
As part of the celebrations, they visited Malta for their second honeymoon, due to its memories that the two share of it.
Shortly after their marriage, the couple were stationed there for two years which were some of their fondest memories.
But this wasn’t the destination they picked for their initial honeymoon.
