Cruises: Never pick THIS cabin if you use the onboard swimming pool

Choosing a room far away from the noise often means using the elevator and a long walk.

This is the opposite of what is wanted if using the swimming pool, according to Conde Nast Traveler.

“If you’ll be spending most days at the pool, avoid cabins that require two elevators and a ship-length walk to get there—and back in a wet swimsuit,” they advised.

Therefore rooms that are closer to the main area are a much better option for avid swimmers to avoid a long, wet walk.

They also advised avoiding a number of cabins if prone to seasickness.
