Hong Kong Tourism Board plans Bridge+Cruise promotions to Pearl River Delta

The regional Pearl River Delta cluster is composed of nine cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan, Dungguan, Huizhou, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing) plus Hong Kong and Macao, with nearly a 70m population.

The opening of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway prompted Dream Cruises to initiate its first rail+cruise recruitment campaign, with over 1,000 inbound guests arriving in Hong Kong by high speed rail throughout November for two-night weekend cruises aboard World Dream.

The launch of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge could provide better opportunities for passengers to drive to Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Ocean Terminal to take a cruise, the HKTB executive said.
