“I recently returned from a long weekend celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and while I’d been to the city before, I spent this trip visiting all new destinations. For dinner in the French Quarter, Longway Tavern lived up to its billing on Esquire‘s list of 2018’s Best New Restaurants (I’m still dreaming about the English peas dish, made with cauliflower cream, country ham, and breadcrumbs). I stayed at an Airbnb, but next time I’m booking a room at Hotel Peter Paul.
