Groom pulled over for speed, arrested for drugs on wedding night – WJHG

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The first night of marriage is usually spent with romance and honeymoon plans, but that wasn’t the case for Nicholas Sheridan, 26, of Georgia.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies say Sheridan spent his first night of being married behind bars.

Monday night deputies say they pulled Sheridan over for going 15 miles over the speed limit. They say the couple was on their way to panama city beach. Deputies say they found 14 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine, nine pills containing MDMA, and two pipes.

Sheridan was charged with multiple counts of possession of drugs.

Mrs. Sheridan told deputies she would continue her travel to the beach.
