New Lotte Duty Free campaign encourages newlyweds to book with hope

Lotte Duty Free is encouraging newlyweds to ‘book with hope’ under a new campaign in partnership with Lotte Hotel, Good Travel and Barunson Card.

In a promotion which goes well beyond the bounds of traditional travel retail, the company is offering a five-day, four-night tour of Guam, complete with Lotte Duty Free discounts, flights, accommodation and gifts.

The offer is open to newlyweds who did not get a honeymoon but were married between February 2020 and August 2021. Nine charter flights will run between 21 July and 18 September this year, with 180 spaces on each flight.

Travellers will benefit from “unprecedented” benefits with Lotte Duty Free, including discounts of up to 50%, LDF Pay worth up to 600,000 won ($530) and the opportunity for membership upgrades.

Lotte has also expanded its partnerships in the region to host special events and provide additional benefits for travellers on the tour.

Lotte Duty Free Shop Head of Platform Division Lee-Jung-min said: “With the expansion of vaccinations around the world, there is a growing expectation that we will be able to travel abroad: Plan.”

The honeymoon tour is available from next month for a 10,000 won reservation fee.
