Shared-bike service established in Aruba

Green Bike Aruba, the first shared-bike system in the
Caribbean, offers 100 bikes for use by tourists and locals. The company
launched its service this past spring.

Eight stations are located near the island’s most popular
tourist centers, including one at the cruise terminal and another in downtown
Oranjestad.

The three-speed bikes can be rented for an hour at $8 and up
to eight hours for $25. Long-term and annual bike passes are available.

Users purchase a bike pass at any station, enter the code to
release the bike and then return the bike to any station.
